She laughed "I'm sure they do, that's one thing we agree on" she smiled
"Ahhh Tillif, he's ok, keep's stealing my books though, his room is scattered with my books and paint, all he does is sit in his room in between lessons painting and reading. So weird! He is growing up, he has the most gorgeous curly hair, so different from mine but I love it, I hate my stupidly straight hair, just like my mothers! He still has a dimple in his head, although I still to this day don't know how he got that, it's well strange!" she smiled "You shall have to visit him see if you can't entise him out of his room!!" she smiled

Kiera smiled and nodded gently her mind picking out certain points of the description given by Kiesha
"He sounds delightful!" she said although she was alittle confused as to how a child of Tia and Istaris would have curly hair.
*perhaps in their ancestory* she thought quietly before her eyes landed on chandira
"You should sit and rest a while" she said quietly
"That sword must be heavy!"

She nodded to the Queen and took a seat not to far from Kiesha. She took off the sword and placed it on her lap. It was a very big and heavy sword, it looked too big for a thin, but well built woman of Chandrin's size to weild. But she did so with little ease at all.
She slowly drumed her fingers on the sword.

"Well delightful is one word... just plain weird is another!" She studied Kiera's face
"Errr is everything o.k. your majesty? Only you look a little pale? Would you like me to fetch you some water?" Kiesha had become alot more formal

"Alexios!" She snapped, hissing quietly rather than shouting as she paced towards the court. The great dog that usually walked calmly at her side had loped off towards the entrance of the court, huge stride of the dog outpacing her quickly even as it jogged inside.
"Come back here, for God's sake." She snarled, whsipering now, as not to attract attention, although this was rather difficult by her attire. A metal plated headband lay over her right eye, covering the midnight blue iris. A set of heavy denim trousers, laced and covered with leather and studs jingled lightly as she sprang after the beast.
A sigh of disbelief passed her lips as she sensed the dog sprinted into the court itself, forcing her to follow quietly, her midnight black/blue hair contrasting starkly to the sandy colours of the local elves and Sidhe.

Chandira stood to her feet rather quickly. She imediatley placed herself directly between the Queen and Aranor. She did not recognice Aranor. She couldn't of come intot he Court much, otherwise Chandira would know her.
"Excuse me?" She said in a stern voice. She moved closer to the woman. She wanted to know who and why she was there. "Who are you?" She nodded to the two guards outside the door of the Grand hall, they both stood beside Aranor waiting for the word of Chandira to escort her out. She waited for Aranor's reply and any words off the Queen.
She kept her one eye on the big dog besides her, she did not like the look of it.

Kiesha got to her feet and looked at the new presense in disgust
"A dark elf" Kiesha hissed "A traitor!" she looked at the dark elf malice running through her veins now
Kiesha's tone of voice and appearance had totally changed from the light-hearted elf she was 10 seconds previous
Although Kiesha rebelled againt her mother fiercley, she held heritage and family loyality and kin loyality close to her heart as one of the things she truly believed in and coming across dark elves disgusted her more than anything

Kiera frowned at the disturbance in the hall and recognising Aranor she stood swiftly, looking down at the sister of her worst nightmare she frowned. Kieshas words broke her thoughts and she frowned
"Enough Kiesha!" she spoke sharply all the while looking at aranor and keeping one eye on the large dog.
"Aranor, It is many years since I have seen you, what brings you here?"

Aranor drew to a halt, looking rather startled, of course she hadn't been paying much attention, but certainly had not expected to wander straight into a group of royals that surrouded the place. When the guards sprang to her side to escort her out, she stiffened, resisting the urge to draw her weapons. Her eyes flicked over to the sound of the queen although she could not distinguish her by shape alone, the presence of magic particles around the woman were familiar.
A pale hand raised to her lips and a piercing whsitle told the great dog that it had gone too far, and it returned to her side, looking rather sorry for itself, tail hanging between his legs. "I had a run away." She answered calmly, her she could feel the guards leaning in, ready to grab her, to some she was not forgotten.
"I would ask you to keep away from me please, I will leave of my own accord."

The Queen and this dark elf seemed to be aquainted. Chandira motioned with her hand and the guards bowed and moved back to their posts. Chandira moved aside for her to pass, but kept a watchful eye on her. She would watch her like an hawk, she couldn't be too sure who to let by to see the Queen, especially a Dark elf.
Chandira moved to Kiesha. She sat down and pulled Kiesha to her seat. "Keep quiet, little Princess. Let us observe what is in front of us." She whispered to the Young High Elf.

Kiesha jumped straight back out of her seat and looked at the dark elf her ears not quite beliving what they had just heard
"Aranor? As in the murderer?" she practically shouted "What is she doing here in the Catori courts!!! How dare she step foot on these lands!" One thing Kiesha had in common with her mother was her temper, and she knew that the name Aranor was a name hated by her mother and many people in her lands, and she knew the the people of Catori and Queen Kiera where equally not as fond of this name
Kiesha looked at Kiera and then sat down knowing she'd stepped over many lines and was probably in trouble

Kiera frowned watching as the guards stepped back, she nodded to Chandira who waited not far from Aranor, "Kiesha....." she said her voice holding a low warning that she would not tolerate any more of the young elves temper.
"Aranor, it has been many many moons since we heard even a hint from Dagon Ur" she spoke hesitently
"How.....how are things there?"

Post by Yasashiku Kaima on Jun 21, 2007 23:48:21 GMT
Wandering through the Catori domain, Yasashiku couldn't help but to let his mind wander towards the few months that he had spent in the land he had only just returned to. The friends he had made, the events he witnessed first hand, the pain he had been forced to endure. The crater that sat upon his back, still present even after the many years that had passed, burned once more. It had never been re-opened, not since that sickle dug into his back and erupted into a torrent of blood. It stung beneath his clothing, his mucles twitching out of instinct.
But the pain was shoved aside as he continued to walk along, and the sound of a sharp bark tore through the air, pulling his attention away from the burning nerve endings in his skin and towards the dog that skipped across the ground somewhere in the distance. A small smile sat on his face, pleased at the sight. But his face turned itno a small expression of surprise at the sight of the figure that called after the creature, not long before giving chase to it.
He halted in mid-step, the red crimson sash that sat about his waist flittering to a stop beside his leg as he watched, waited, and pondered, before making up his mind to follow after it, unsure if his eyes were playing tricks upon him. Squinting in the sunlight, Kaima began to walk once more, headed in the direction of the figure he thought he knew from years before.

"...the murderer..."
It has been a while since she had been reffered to in that way, quite so openly, although recently she had withdrawn from such events as she might have taken pleasure in the past. "Yes." She sneared. "Aranor the murderer." She gave the child a smile, the single red iris that was visible seemed to be looking through the girl rather than at her, although simply she could see nothing through it.
Her face turned to face the area in which the voice of queen Kiera had errupted. "Fine, the community supports itself and we have little need of outside forces, I would like to keep it that way." She had taken care ofd the village since her brother had entrusted it to her all of those years ago and now it seemed to have grown beyond what it once was, not a thriving little town, although it was still just as wary of outsiders.
Dagon Ur was at the back of her mind at the moment, she had a fear that with the wrong word, an attack would be ordered against her, she kenw the hatred that had settled on her name after the attacks all of those years ago.
