This is for when the site makes a comeback. I was looking around other sites (Be offended if you wish) and saw some things there that I think'd work here.
1. When people want to start RP's in other sites, they make a seperate topic with the title of the RP. This seperates the stories into more manageable chunks and avoids 1000 page areas (Rock pools becoming quite the watering hole, if you'll pardon the expression) These little Rp's can also be easily deleted (theoretically)
2. The Rp arrangements were made beforehand, and people don't neccesarily have to be there the entire time. A person could log in, type their fill, then leave and wait for a response. This is good for when the site slows down like this and only one or two people are on at a time, so people don't end up leaving when their full throttle in the story.
3. Most sites don't use the money system. This is probably because we don't have to worry about our characters eating and whatnot, and most of what we need we can get in RP, putting ink and paper into the equation just adds unnessacary steps.
Okay, Kiera if you could take a look at it at your lesiure, also, these little suggestions also extends to DS and similar forums. I'd appreciate it. Love ya in a non romantic way, cya! ;D

I have seen your 1st suggestion put into action on a different site, I can tell you honestly, it does NOT work. Trust me, it just makes more confusion also making the site look untidy.
I do not really understsand suggestion 2, but number 3 with the money system I like. I think that a money system works well.
So Arthas. Some of you have great ideas it's just some don't work in the long run. Sorry.

If you don't mind me making a note about those then changing the whole type of RP will not please most people.
I found that those boards were longwinded and you couldn't just log on and walk up to someone, you had to PM them and then arrange a storyline which never worked long term. Those boards never last that long.
I am sorry if I sound like I am being a bit nasty but I just don't really like those types of RP, and find them messy and difficult to follow a storyline. If the majority want it then I would accept it but I don't think that it would be a wise switch. Sorry about that.

I agree with Aranor. I play on several of the types of sites Arthas is talking about, and they may be enjoyable, but are very difficult to get into for new players, especially a well established one that Chepi would be. Also, on Chepi, or DS, or Primus, or any of the other ones, it is easier to rp on in general, people don't mind so much about you jumping into their threads, and it's harder to just post to up your post count. Also, the money system works quite well, even if Elesin still has every penny of his starting money......maybe I'm not the best example!

Tull your an idiot!! j/k n now for my response hehe. I liked the idea of the storyline bit (where ppl do a thread and that makes on storyline but liketh othersI have tried sites like that n given up after a few days because it confuses me:D The fact that pages like the rock pool are 1000 pages long or whatever i understand your point but i always feel that being able to back track on your characters history allows you to add depth and realism( toa certain extent) to your character. The money thing is just there and not nesecary so neone wishing to gt rid of it may do so
